Russia hands over remains of 82 Ukrainian troops

The bodies of 82 Ukrainian soldiers have been brought back to their homeland from Russian-annexed regions, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine has confirmed in a statement. The exhumation was supported by the Office of the Commissariat for Missing Persons of Ukraine, along with the help of law enforcement. The return of the bodies was said to be in accordance with the Geneva Convention. This news brings closure to the families and friends of the fallen soldiers, who have been waiting for their loved ones to be brought back home since they went missing.
