Aydın: Production is sufficient for now, but there may be interruptions in the following hours

The General Manager of the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority, Dalman Aydın, reminded that the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority Employees’ Union did not intervene in malfunctions, except for situations that pose a threat to the safety of life and property of the personnel, due to the decision of the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority Employees’ Union not to do business.

In his statement to BRT, Dalman Aydın stated that Teknecik Power Plant, whose steam power plant was out of order due to a malfunction, is currently meeting the production, but if one of the power plants is out of order in the following hours, it is inevitable to make a cut.

KIB-TEK Manager Dalman Aydın said that in order to avoid further problems, the working hours of the shift personnel were arranged.

In the meantime, the General Directorate of the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority stated that the line numbered 0548 829 62 30 can be called in case of emergency, and asked that other contact numbers in the press not be respected.

In the statement, it was noted that the Call Center was disabled due to the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Corporation Employees Union’s decision not to do business, and the only active line is 0548 829 62 30 in order to respond to emergencies so that citizens do not experience any grievances.
