“Hakan Aysev undergoes surgery!”
Renowned Turkish opera singer, Hakan Aysev, has undergone a successful gastric hernia surgery that lasted four hours. The 55-year-old artist had previously undergone stomach reduction surgery in 2015, which helped him lose 60 kilos in 10 months. Aysev had suffered from health issues due to his excess weight and would often find himself shutting himself from social life as a result. Speaking about the importance of his doctor and the severity of such surgeries, Aysev urged caution to people considering such procedures. Despite maintaining his weight over the years through a strict diet, Aysev had to undergo hernia surgery recently. Sami İrek, the singer’s adopted son, was with him throughout the process. Aysev thanked his doctor, İrek, and his family for their support, and stated that he is now in recovery and grateful for their help.
